The source for Southern Beverage's Springtime water is the Crystalline Rock Aquifer in Appling, Georgia, which lies nearly 1,000 feet underground through solid granite. The water is accessed through eight artesian wells located on the company's 1,000-acre site. Although the water is from a naturally pure source, Southern Beverage also further purifies the water through a sand, charcoal and micro-filtration process and treats the water with ultra violet light to kill any bacteria. Finally, the last step is ozonation, which not only ensures superior purification, but also sterilizes the bottle and cap. | |
